Hampshire Trust Bank is seeking a Treasury Portfolio & Execution Manager to optimise the bank’s treasury investment portfolio, including swaps, repos and FX transactions, to meet liquidity, risk and return objectives. The role covers asset allocation, performance monitoring and the development of treasury strategies in a compliant framework.

The successful candidate will work with the ALM team to deploy surplus liquidity, monitor risk and returns, and report to ALCO, ensuring efficient execution

Formación

• Significant experience in treasury portfolio management or asset-liability management within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products and liquidity management in regulatory contexts.
• Experience with swaps, FX, repos and related market instruments.
• High numerical ability with analytics and data interpretation.
• Proficient in portfolio systems and advanced Excel; Bloomberg experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day treasury portfolio operations across covered bonds, SSAs, gilts and other eligible assets.
• Contribute to RMBS investments management.
• Oversee and execute swap, FX and repo transactions to support strategy, risk management and funding needs.
• Develop portfolio strategies for all asset classes within risk and regulatory parameters.
• Identify short-term investment opportunities in high-quality liquid assets and money-market instruments.
• Ensure cash-management decisions align with funding strategy, risk appetite and balance-sheet goals.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and compliance with limits.
• Support liquidity management including stress testing and regulatory reporting (LCR, NSFR).
• Lead or support projects to integrate new asset classes or systems into the treasury portfolio.
• Prepare and present portfolio updates and recommendations to ALCO and senior management.
• Ensure adherence to the bank’s risk management framework, policies and procedures.
