About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative Treasury Markets Portfolio Manager to support our Treasury Markets team. This role involves growing our investment portfolio, executing dealing activities, analyzing wholesale credit risk, and supporting wholesale funding initiatives, including capital markets issuance. The position requires collaboration across Treasury, Finance, and Risk functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executing derivatives hedging (interest rate swaps / FX), secured financing transactions, and investment securities.
2. Supporting investment execution and analyzing wholesale credit risk in government and SSAs debt, as well as securitization transactions such as covered bonds and asset-backed securities.
3. Maintaining relationships with advisors and banks to identify and optimize funding and investment opportunities, including structuring and pricing.
4. Preparing presentations for stakeholders, contributing to ALCo packs and wholesale funding reports.
5. Supporting change initiatives and system improvements.
6. Collaborating with finance, second and third line defense teams.

Ideal Candidate

• Extensive banking experience with deep knowledge of Treasury, especially financial markets.
• Finance or accounting qualification.
• Strong analytical skills and forward-thinking mindset.
• Familiarity with large data analysis and technology, including Python.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly.
• Openness and effective communication skills.

Benefits & Location

Salary: £94,000 - £110,000 plus share options.

Location: London office or remote UK with regular travel to London.
