Amwins Global Risks is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting assistant on a 12‑month FTC to support the Financial Reporting Manager. The role will involve daily treasury and statutory reporting tasks, journal entries, and preparing documents in Excel, Word and PowerPoint to aid decision making.

You will interact with the team across control documentation and reporting processes. You will learn all aspects of a financial environment, with exposure to accounts payable, treasury and financial

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent).
• Ability to analyse and identify key information.
• Ability to problem solve using knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Effective communication skills.
• Decision making.
• Problem solving.
• Able to work under guidance rather than close supervision.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journals and assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support treasury, regulatory and statutory reporting tasks.
• Assist with investment and foreign exchange paperwork.
• Aid invoice processing and cashbook activities.
• Contribute to bi-weekly cashflow forecasts and ad-hoc reports.
