Job summary

The University of Lancashire seeks a Finance Operations Manager (Treasury and Compliance) to lead the Treasury and Compliance function within its Financial Services team. You will manage cash flow, banking operations, treasury reporting and financial controls, while advising stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across treasury activities.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, you will lead a small specialist team, ensure strong governance, and uphold regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury management, banking or financial operations.
• Ability to deliver robust financial controls in a complex environment.
• Proven track record leading teams and driving service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Treasury and Compliance function across the University and entities.
• Manage cash flow, banking operations, treasury reporting and financial controls.
• Provide expert treasury and compliance advice to stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Lead a small specialist team and maintain relationships with banking partners.
• Identify process improvements through technology, automation and best practice.
