A Hertfordshire-based charity, TLR, is seeking a Volunteer Treasurer to guide their financial health. The role involves strategic oversight of finances, working alongside finance professionals. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in recovery support while collaborating with our Board of Trustees. Approx. 6-10 hours per month commitment is expected.

Are you a finance professional who wants to make a meaningful difference? Join us as Treasurer and help steer the financial health of The Living Room (TLR), a Hertfordshire-based charity supporting people in recovery and their families.
We’re looking for someone with financial expertise—ideally a qualified accountant or someone with strong senior finance experience—to join our Board of Trustees. As Treasurer, you'll provide strategic oversight of our finances, working closely with our Head of Finance and Finance Subcommittee. You’ll help ensure we remain financially sustainable and accountable as we continue to grow and innovate.
Time commitment: approx. 6–10 hours per month, including quarterly Board and Finance Subcommittee meetings.
Location: Hybrid – meetings held in Hertfordshire and online.
Term: 3 years (renewable)

We support adults in Hertfordshire seeking freedom from any addiction, for free. We also support the family and carers of those living with addiction. Group therapy is facilitated by counsellors with lived experience in recovery. See more opportunities by The Living Room
