Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust invites applications for a Peripatetic Wellbeing Advisor and (Student Support) role, based at our Head Office in Coventry. The post blends student support across locations with relief wellbeing coverage in the Midlands and Southwest.

Responsibilities include supporting induction, drop-in sessions, and face-to-face student help, plus ensuring continuity of wellbeing services during staff absence and collaborating with location teams for resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Relevant health/social care qualification required.
• Knowledge of ExtraCare’s student services and placement support.
• Experience supporting students during placements and internships.
• Competent IT skills for documentation and communication.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief cover for Wellbeing Advisor roles across locations.
• Ensure continuity of wellbeing services during staff absence or service need.
• Support induction, drop-in sessions, and face-to-face support for students.
• Visit students on placement to offer guidance and supervision.
• Carry out initial online induction with students and assist placement experiences.
