Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering company in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work across The North West & North Wales. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment at multiple client sites, including gearboxes, bearings, shafts and seals, plus installations, shutdowns and refurbishments.

You will travel between sites. Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00, pay is £18 per hour with overtime paid at 1.5x, and there is temporary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter carrying out machine maintenance and repairs.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple client sites.
• Work on installations, mechanical shutdowns, and refurbishment of gearboxes, bearings, shafts and seals.
• Travelling between sites to maintain and repair industrial machinery.
