Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Peripatetic Home Manager & Quality Auditor to lead multiple residential homes across Hertfordshire, travelling between sites from the Head Office in Welwyn Garden City. This full-time role supports interim Home Manager duties, improves quality, and ensures regulatory readiness.

You will oversee budgets, staff development, inspections and drive improvements while maintaining core CQC compliance and safeguards.

Qualifications

Level 5 Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence.
Significant Home Manager experience in residential and/or dementia care.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and care sector legislation.
Proven leadership with experience developing teams, managing budgets and inspections.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Registered Manager Award or higher management/quality/audit qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across Quantum Care homes, including interim Home Manager support and service stabilisation.
Drive quality improvement, compliance, auditing activities and regulatory readiness to support outstanding care standards.
Deliver temporary Home Manager cover without responsibility for Registered Manager status, while CQC registration remains managed by the organisation.
