Job summary

Multimatic is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across our site, ensuring facilities are safe, clean and compliant. You may travel between company sites to support maintenance tasks as needed.

The role requires practical trades experience, a UK driving licence and the ability to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with teams and contractors. We value proactive individuals who follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more maintenance trades such as joinery, plumbing or electrical work.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across the site.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe, with proper disposal of waste.
• Liaise with contractors and coordinate external works as required.
• Maintain maintenance records and update work requests in the system.
