Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd is recruiting for a Travel, Tours & Reservation Consultant to join a well-established travel company in the UK. You will manage day-to-day tour planning, create itineraries, handle invoicing and ticketing, and prepare final documentation for clients and suppliers.

You will bring excellent customer service and sales experience, with a passion for travel and strong presentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service/sales experience and a background within the Travel industry or a genuine passion for travel, a natural communicator with a drive to succeed bringing energy, integrity and confidence to your work.
• Excellent presentation skills and confidence speaking to varied audiences, a results-orientated mindset and strong communication skills across phone, written proposals and live presentations are also essential with the ability to adapt your style to suit your target audience. A full UK driving license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan all elements of a tour including itinerary planning, customer invoicing, ticketing, and final documentation
• Use effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and exceed their expectations
• Ensure accurate, customer friendly documentation is sent to clients and suppliers in a timely manner
• Actively seek out customer feedback and make use of this to constantly improve our services and our customers' ever-changing needs
• Understand the needs of customers and work to simplify the tour booking process wherever possible
• Maintain a good, up to date knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible
• Build long term relationships and maximise the retention of clients through excellent customer service and product delivery
• Minimise the impact of issues and implement improvements to ensure they are avoided wherever possible
• Work closely with the Product & Marketing Team to research, identify/add new visits and/or products to our portfolio and generate ideas for marketing and promotional activity
• Ensure the timely collection of due payments to maximise cash flow
