Job summary

Sixth Form College in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant to support Travel and Tourism levels 2 and 3, plus flexible cross-curriculum support across Level 1 Business or IT. You will work with teachers to help students access the curriculum, complete coursework and progress toward qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge of Travel and Tourism, good communication, and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Travel and Tourism and ability to support Level 2/3 students.
• Ability to help students understand concepts and complete assignments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class learning support to Travel and Tourism Levels 2 and 3.
• Help students understand concepts, follow lesson content and engage with activities.
• Support coursework, assignments, research and independent study skills.
• Reinforce teaching strategies to help students reach qualification targets.
• Adapt support across other curriculum areas as needed, including Level 1, Business or IT.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to promote positive student outcomes.
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding procedures.
