Job summary

Moto Hospitality is seeking a WHSmith Retail Assistant to join our team at Southwaite Services, Carlisle. You will help deliver WHSmith’s travel essentials and provide exceptional customer service in a busy rest-stop environment.

We offer a 14 hour contract with pay at £12.90 per hour, plus benefits including discretionary bonus, staff discount, sick pay, life assurance, weekly pay and funded development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a warm welcome.
• Process orders and requests quickly and accurately.
• Maintain brand standards and store presentation.
• Resolve enquiries with a customer-centric approach.
• Receive deliveries and replenish displays for product availability.
• Keep workspace clean, tidy and welcoming.
• Supervise adult gaming areas.
• Work with colleagues to promote teamwork.
• Leave customers with a memorable experience they want to repeat.
• Prepare store for the next trading day.
