Job summary

Recruit Mint Ltd in Market Deeping is seeking two Electronics Installation & Test Engineers for build, installation, commissioning and testing of complex communication systems across the UK and internationally.

The role involves extensive travel, training customers, delivering documentation and providing ongoing support during project delivery. A full UK driving licence and relevant engineering qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• A-Level Maths and a Science subject, or an HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of electronic communication systems design and testing.
• Experience installing, commissioning or testing radio systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver Factory Acceptance Tests to meet contractual, customer and programme requirements.
• Lead installation, commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing of complex communication systems.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the UK and internationally.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical advice ahead of installations.
• Diagnose technical faults and deliver practical solutions during installation and commissioning.
• Produce accurate test, installation and project documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical support throughout project delivery.
• Deliver operator, maintenance and on-the-job training to customers in the UK and overseas.
• Communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
• Support system build, testing and customer support activities when not at customer sites.
• Provide technical input to engineering, applications and installation teams.
• Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events.
