Job summary

Succeed Recruitment in Birmingham is seeking a Travel Operations Executive to join our award-winning client. You will coordinate tours, manage bookings, and deliver top-tier pre- and post-sale service to travellers with meticulous attention to detail.

The hybrid role offers £27,000 per year with excellent travel industry benefits. Hours are 9:00 to 17:30, with two days in the office and three from home, supporting smooth operations and strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel agency or tour ops environment.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and professionalism.
• An eye for sales and converting enquiries into bookings.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Methodical and conscientious approach to tasks.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Control room allocations and release dates.
• Manage additional services and special requests for bookings.
• Complete client flight requests promptly.
• Provide timely communication, manifests and documentation to agents and suppliers.
• Draft accurate customer itineraries.
• Arrange tickets and boarding passes for customers.
• Dispatch travel documents to customers on time.
• Liaise with suppliers on quality control issues.
• Audit loaded allotments and contracts data for accuracy.
• Support Finance with supplier invoicing as needed.
• Follow company policies to resolve customer issues pre- and post-sale.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone or email.
