Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Physician Associate in Trauma and Orthopaedics at North Devon District Hospital. The PA will work with Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and the wider MDT to deliver high-quality patient-centred care across acute trauma and elective orthopaedics, including involvement in a Virtual Fracture Clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessment and management of trauma patients.
• Experience with Virtual Fracture Clinic (VFC) pathway.
• Ability to work with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, manage and follow-up trauma and musculoskeletal patients.
• Support both face-to-face and virtual clinical pathways.
• Collaborate with surgeons, clinicians and nursing staff in acute and elective services.
