Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Specialist Physiotherapist - Orthopaedic Aftercare (Internal Only) to work across paediatric and adult orthopaedic rehabilitation. The role encompasses clinics, aftercare referrals, and supervision of junior staff, with opportunities to develop specialist paediatric skills.

The post requires HCPC registration and post-graduate experience in orthopaedic aftercare, trauma & orthopaedics, or musculoskeletal outpatients.

Qualifications

• HCP C-registered physiotherapist with post-graduate orthopaedic aftercare experience.
• Experience with paediatric orthopaedic patients desirable.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and therapy assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat orthopaedic aftercare patients post-surgery or injury.
• Develop and deliver specialist rehabilitation programmes.
• Lead and support junior staff and students.
• Contribute to service improvement and deputise for Clinical Lead.
