Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Junior Clinical Fellow position in Trauma & Orthopaedics. This fixed-term post is designed for a core/F3 level doctor to gain surgical experience, consolidate skills, and prepare for specialty training within the NHS.

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ post-graduate experience, 6 months in Trauma & Orthopaedics, and 6 months NHS experience. A full shift rota will apply and a clinical supervisor will support the placement.

Qualifications

• 2 years post-graduate experience
• 6 months experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics
• 6 months NHS experience
• Training opportunities in both emergency and elective surgery
• Full shift rota participation
• Clinical supervisor assigned for duration of placement

Responsibilities

• Teaching, audit, guideline development and service improvement projects will be available during the placement.
