Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Junior clinical fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. The role involves covering rotations across trauma and orthopaedic services, supervising junior doctors, responding rapidly to A&E, and participating in outpatient clinics and theatre lists as directed by consultants.

Competenze

• Junior doctor cover on a rotational shift basis in trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
• Supervise FY1s and FY2s in service delivery, including outpatients, inpatients and day services.
• On-call is 1:10 with cross cover with urology; rapid response to A&E to meet the 4 hour trolley-wait target.

Mansioni

• Undertake outpatient clinics and operating theatre lists as directed by consultants.
• Participate in Clinical Governance and Risk Assessment.
• Contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate Orthopaedic Surgery training within the hospital.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team and liaise with other departments.
• Maintain legible records and assist in audit under the Audit lead.
