Qualifications

• Junior Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery with SHO grade duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise FY1s and FY2s in service delivery, inpatients, and day services.
• Provide rapid response to A&E to facilitate the 4-hour trolley-wait target.
• Undertake outpatient clinics and operating theatre lists as directed by consultants.
• Participate in Clinical Governance and Risk Assessment processes.
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate Orthopaedic training within the hospital.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and liaise with other departments.
• Maintain legible patient records and participate in audits.
• Recognize limitations and seek guidance from Consultants in patient management.
• Perform related duties and be flexibly deployed as required.
