Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Staff Nurse (Band 5) in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery. The post is full-time and permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with day/night/weekend shifts in Bath.

The successful applicant will be NMC registered, hold a Diploma/degree, and contribute to patient-centred care, education, and professional development within a supportive NHS team.

Formación

• Up to date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a Named Nurse, assess and plan care for a defined patient group.
• Coordinate discharge arrangements in line with Trust policy.
• Educate patients and carers as required and document to Trust standards.
• Maintain a safe ward/department environment and monitor care pathways.
• Develop teaching skills and participate in staff/student education.
• Attend Trust induction and mandatory training; maintain professional portfolio.
