Job summary

Paragon Social Care in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire is seeking a Children’s Support Worker to provide safe, trauma-informed care for children in local authority care, supporting education, daily routines and life skills. You will transport young people to school, collaborate with social workers and families, maintain records, and contribute to safeguarding.

The role emphasizes building trusting relationships and promoting wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Access to your own vehicle for work.
• Available to work a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week.
• Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or an equivalent qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, consistent and trauma-informed care.
