Job summary

Be Inspired Youth & Community CIC in London delivers high-risk mentoring, therapy and employability support to young people affected by violence and exploitation. The Youth Intervention Leader provides one-to-one and group mentoring across home, school and community settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience working with young people facing multiple disadvantages.
• Strong safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.
• Excellent communication and IT skills, including accurate case recording.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 mentoring and group work to engage young people.
• Deliver structured mentoring interventions over approx. 12–20 weeks with clear goals.
• Collaborate with social care, youth justice, youth engagement teams, schools and police.
• Maintain registers, input attendance and complete detailed case notes within 48 hours.
• Provide regular updates to referrers and contribute to learning for programme development.
