Job summary

YourRecruit Ltd is seeking an experienced Team Leader - Children's Residential Care to support the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in a busy children's residential home in Leatherhead. You will lead shifts, supervise Residential Support Workers and deliver trauma-informed, child-centred care aligned with individual care plans and safeguarding procedures.

You will work 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with flexibility, on-call duties, and an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in residential childcare.
• At least 1 year in a senior or shift-leading role.
• Experience with emotional/behavioural/trauma needs.
• Enhanced DBS check required; UK right to work.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise Residential Support Workers.
• Deliver trauma-informed, child-centred care aligned to care plans.
• Support safeguarding procedures and record-keeping.
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports and care records.
• Liaise with social workers, therapists, and education providers.
