Society of St James in Portsmouth is recruiting a Substance Use Recovery Worker for The Recovery Hub. The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with regular evening and occasional weekend work, based at The Recovery Hub in Southsea with visits to clients at other services or in their homes.

Permanent contract with salary scale 22-26 (£26,986 - £30,561 per annum). We seek a trauma‑informed, compassionate practitioner who can manage risk and build strong relationships to support individuals

Qualifications

• Experience working with substance use and mental health client groups.
• Knowledge of the impact of substance use; risk management skills; trauma-informed approach.

Responsabilités

• Manage a client caseload safely and effectively.
• Provide a range of interventions and support to help people improve their lives.
• Visit clients in other services or in their own homes and work with key partner agencies.
