Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the CAMHS Looked After Children's Team in Nottingham. You will carry out specialist assessments, deliver targeted interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support traumatised children and secure better communication outcomes.

HCPC registration is required. You will have access to regular supervision, strong peer networks and ongoing CPD opportunities within

Qualifications

Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
Excellent clinical reasoning, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to anti-racism, trauma-informed practice, and inclusive communication.
Confident working autonomously and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Specialist speech, language and communication assessments.
Delivering evidence-based, individualised interventions.
Consultation, advice and training.
Contributing to service development and quality improvement.
Carrying out specialist SLT assessments and bespoke packages, including reports, recommendations and resources.
Developing Training/advice with the MDT to support the CYP and CAMHS.
