Job summary

Bradford Beacon School is seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join our growing team in Bradford. You will deliver a creative, therapeutic curriculum across the primary range, tailoring lessons to EHCPs and supporting pupils with autism and associated needs to grow academically and emotionally.

This permanent post runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a start in October 2026. UK applicants only; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or QTLS (SEN experience beneficial)
• Educated to degree level
• Creative, flexible and resilient teaching approach
• Trauma-informed, child-centred wellbeing focus
• Strong collaboration in multidisciplinary team
• ECTs welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring, individualised teaching for pupils with autism and complex needs
• Create a safe, calm, and structured classroom environment
• Adapt lessons to suit a wide range of abilities and learning styles
• Promote confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
• Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes
• Contribute to shaping school culture, routines, and best practice
