Job summary

Excelcare is recruiting a Support Worker for a residential childcare home in Histon. You will support children aged 6-17, focusing on safety, development and education in a nurturing, trauma-informed setting.

You will join a dedicated team, receive induction, and complete required qualifications while contributing to high standards of care and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with children, young people or vulnerable groups.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification.
• Compassionate, respectful and caring demeanor.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Work front-line with children aged 6-17 to support development.
• Collaborate with senior staff to ensure safe, trauma-informed care.
• Help create a safe, nurturing home environment and meet regulations.
