Greenleaf House in Hawick, United Kingdom, is seeking a dedicated practitioner to join our residential team. You will provide compassionate care to young people, participate in therapeutic interventions, and work a 14-hour shift pattern with 10-hour sleepovers across a 2-on/3-off cycle.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, sleepovers, and long hours.
• Full UK manual driving licence and confident driver.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to children and young people in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Contribute to assessment processes and delivery of support programmes.
• Attend planning and review meetings and participate in a keyperson system.
• Ensure quality recording of information according to policies.
• Work within a shift system including sleepovers.
• Undertake health and safety and other security checks as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training and personal development.
• Implement de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies as required.
• Promote participation, structure, boundaries and routines.
• Comply with the code of conduct and safeguarding requirements.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
