Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Practitioner Psychologist in a preceptorship role. You will work under the supervision of a senior registered Psychologist, leading clinical supervision and delivering comprehensive assessment and formulation within a multidisciplinary team.

You will participate in a two-year preceptorship programme with opportunities for reflective practice, research, CPD and progression within the Psychology Team.

Qualifications

• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to junior psychology staff.
• Deliver highly specialist assessment and formulation for service users.
• Complete preceptorship programme over two years with progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical supervision for junior psychological professionals.
• Provide supervision and consultation to assistant psychologists and counsellors.
• Ensure interventions are trauma-informed and aligned with NICE guidelines and CQC standards.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in line with organisational policies.
• Support research, service evaluation and audits to improve services.
