Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of children, young people and carers to inform planning and delivery of work that sustains positive outcomes.

Education

NVQ level 3 in Childcare Diploma

Experience with challenging children and young people

Knowledge of child development and diverse needs

Understanding of trauma impact on development

Time management, organisational and planning skills; IT skills; sound record keeping

Communication and relationship-building with children, young people and carers

Ability to maintain accurate records and manage casework
