Job summary

Wirral Metropolitan College is seeking a Lecturer in Progression, Employment and Life Skills to deliver high quality, trauma-informed teaching to Level 1 and Level 2 learners within the Employability and Progression Department. You will deliver personal development, employability and progression focused qualifications, with the opportunity to contribute to English and maths delivery where appropriate.

This is a 35 hour per week, full-time, permanent role with a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification.
• Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
• Level 2 English and/or maths.
• Have current teaching or training experience with NEET learners and/or ability to deliver English and/or maths to GCSE level.
• Experience of developing and delivering, differentiated learning materials and/or innovative curriculum and learning materials which meet the needs of students.
• Have knowledge of key trends and concepts within the FE sector especially trauma informed approaches appropriate for NEET learners and learners with Special Educational Needs.
