Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking a Band 7 Psychologist to join the therapies team at Northwick Park Hospital. You will provide psychological assessment, formulation and brief interventions on adult inpatient wards and through the Home Treatment Team, while promoting trauma-informed practice.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, supervise staff, contribute to service development and pursue research and training to enhance care for diverse patient

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience in supervision and providing psychological assessment and treatment.
• Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and working with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for adult inpatients and Home Treatment Team.
• Assess and monitor risk; develop and implement risk management plans.
• Provide clinical supervision and consultation to colleagues; support trauma-informed practice.
• Undertake service evaluation, audits and research to inform service development.
• Deliver psychological therapy across inpatient, crisis services and MDT settings; maintain governance and record-keeping.
