Job summary

CNTW NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist for a secure inpatient provision. The post involves expert psychological assessment, risk assessments, formulation and both individual and group therapies within a multidisciplinary team.

You will support staff with formulation, training and reflective practice, contributing to trauma- and recovery-informed care while promoting wellbeing and reducing risk.

Qualifications

• Band 7 equivalent level in psychology with NHS registration.
• Inpatient psychology experience or willingness to work in secure inpatient provision.
• Ability to work within and across multidisciplinary teams.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to our secure inpatient provision. Psychology provision is a well-established and valued component of the service model, and the post holder would be required to work effectively within and across multidisciplinary teams.

The post involves providing expertise in undertaking specialist psychological assessment, including risk assessments, collaborative formulation and interventionswith service users. The role will include individual and group based therapeutic work. It will involve supporting multidisciplinary staff working with service users through formulation, training and reflective practice sessions, contributing to a service wide understanding and management of complex risk. This post would ideally suit an individual committed to embedding the delivery of trauma and recovery-informed care while promoting psychological wellbeing and reducing risk.
