Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology and proficiency in evidence-based therapies.
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
• Post-doctoral training in additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
• Interest and development in psychosis-related treatments and services.

Responsibilities

• Offer specialist psychological assessment and intervention to service users.
• Provide advisory, guidance and consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Formulate and implement formal treatment plans for complex cases.
• Deliver psychological interventions to individuals, carers, families and groups.
• Evaluate treatment options considering theoretical and contextual factors.
• Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for assessment, treatment and discharge.
• Contribute to service development and recovery-oriented practices.
