Job summary

Barnardo’s Glasgow 16+ service is seeking motivated, compassionate and nurturing individuals to join our team. Successful candidates will support care-experienced young people to identify, work towards, and achieve personal goals while building confidence, resilience, and independence.

The role focuses on trauma-informed practice, building positive relationships, and upholding the rights and potential of young people as they transition into adulthood in a flexible, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to improving outcomes for care-experienced young people.
• Understanding of disruption in childhood development and attachment difficulties.
• Experience or commitment to trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Willingness to uphold The Promise and children’s rights.
