Job summary

Compass Community Schools is seeking an HLTA to support learners with SEMH needs in a school setting. You will work closely with teaching staff, deliver small-group sessions, and help maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
• Experience working in a school environment is desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in the classroom and deliver sessions with small groups.
• Manage classroom resources and assist with lesson preparation.
• Take children on trips and support behaviour management and safety.
