Job summary

Five Rivers in Rochdale is seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join our trauma-informed school. You will work with an experienced team, support teachers in classrooms and in the community, and help children and young people unlock their passion for learning.

Based in our Ofsted-registered school, the role is full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri 08:30–16:30) term-time aligned with Rochdale Local Authority.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Valid driving licence is desirable.
• Willing to undergo safeguarding checks including DBS.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers by assisting in classrooms and in the community.
• Follow a flexible structure to help children and young people unlock their passion for learning.
• Work within a trauma-informed ATIC model.
