Job summary

Five Rivers Child Care is seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Willow Haven, Warrington. You will support teaching and learning within a trauma-informed environment, both in school and, where required, in outreach settings.

This is a full-time, term-time role with opportunities for career progression. You will work with children and young people who may not access mainstream education, delivering a flexible, therapeutic and creative approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with children, families and professionals.
• Capable of delivering sessions independently as part of a team.
• Experience in trauma-informed or therapeutic education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver learning sessions for children within Warrington and surrounding areas.
• Create safe, nurturing learning environments built around each young person's needs.
• Contribute to an academic, vocational, SEND, and therapeutic curriculum.
• Work as part of a skilled, supportive multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide consistent, reliable, child-centred support that helps young people thrive.
