The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board North Wales Forensic Psychiatric Service seeks an Assistant Psychologist for a permanent post. You will work alongside Clinical Psychologists and Nurse Therapists to undertake assessments, formulations and provide targeted psychological interventions in a forensic inpatient setting.

You will gain experience with complex mental health needs and contribute to trauma-informed approaches within the service; Welsh language ability is desirable though

Formación

• 2:1 Honours Degree in Psychology or equivalent.
• GBC with the BPS.
• Experience with diverse presentations and complex needs.
• Ability to provide group-based interventions is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and score psychological tests.
• Undertake assessments and provide circumscribed psychological interventions.
• Contribute to trauma-informed approaches within forensic care.
• Occasionally engage in clinical audit or service-related research.
