Job summary

VONNE (Voluntary Organisations' Network North East) is seeking a Family Support Worker to provide trauma-informed, practical and emotional support to women and children in refuge. You will develop and deliver engaging activities for children and young people, both one-to-one and in group settings, supporting their wellbeing and resilience.

Working as a family partner alongside Children’s Services, you will complete Early Help Assessments and build links to services.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, practical and emotional support to women and children in refuge.
• Develop and deliver a range of fun and creative activities for children and young people, 1-to-1 and group sessions.
• Work as a ‘family partner’ alongside Children’s Services to complete Early Help Assessments and build links
