Job summary

Oasis Project in Brighton and Hove is seeking a Family Team Recovery Worker / Support Worker to join our gender-responsive, child-centred service delivering parenting and recovery support. You will manage a caseload, deliver individual and group interventions, contribute to safeguarding and work with Children's Social Care and partner agencies to support families affected by substance use.

This is a fixed-term, part-time role with a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting people affected by substance use or other complex needs.
  • Experience of safeguarding, caseload management and multi-agency working.
  • Relevant Health and Social Care experience and/or a qualification.
  • Knowledge of recovery approaches, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide structured support to women and families within a trauma-informed, gender-responsive service.
  • Manage a caseload and deliver individual and group interventions.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and child protection processes.
  • Work with Children's Social Care and partner agencies to support positive outcomes for families.
