Children First in Scotland is seeking a Project Worker to join the Domestic Abuse team in the Scottish Borders. Based across Selkirk and local community venues, you will deliver evidence-informed, trauma-responsive support to children, young people and families affected by domestic abuse, conducting risk assessments and safety planning with a focus on safeguarding and recovery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work or equivalent at SCQF level 9 or higher.
• Experience direct work with children and young people in adversity or distress.
• Experience conducting group and/or family work with children and families.
• Experience supporting children and young people to share their views and participate in decisions.
• Experience identifying and managing risk in safeguarding contexts.

Responsabilités

• Lead professional and high-quality direct support services to children, young people and families.
• Promote Children First values and ensure child participation in services.
• Support Service Manager to deliver the service in line with strategy.
