Job summary

Stop Domestic Abuse is recruiting for a role based in Basingstoke to support adults affected by domestic abuse. The post focuses on safety planning, providing information and helping clients stay safe in or move to suitable accommodation.

The role involves working in partnership to deliver related guidance, assessing risks, and coordinating with other services to meet each client’s needs. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety planning, support, advice and assistance to adults in the community.
• Identify and assess risks and needs of domestic abuse victims using an evidence-based checklist.
• Escort clients to court, Job Centre or local authority appointments when required.
• Develop individual support plans and liaise with agencies to ensure needs are met.
