Job summary

Salvation Army Homes is seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker to provide trauma-informed support in an accommodation-based setting in South West Surrey. You will help survivors of domestic abuse develop independent living skills and support move-on outcomes, working with women and children and coordinating with multiple agencies.

The role requires experience in housing or health and social care, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in psychologically informed environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, support work, health and social care or related field.
• Experience working with people with complex needs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Values-driven approach aligned with mission and objectives.
• Ability to work trauma-informed and within psychologically informed environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed support in an accommodation-based setting.
• Promote independent living skills and support move-on outcomes.
• Collaborate with agencies involved in care and support for women and children.
• Maintain a safe home environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support delivery of local authority contract and KPIs.
