Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Dawn House-based role at Cannock, forming part of the Women’s Secure Blended Service (WSBS). The post holder will support women moving from secure inpatient care into a community residential setting, applying trauma-informed approaches with inpatient teams to ensure a smooth discharge.

Applicants must be female due to the service requirements and must have UK work authorisation; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Role requires empathy, trauma-informed care approach, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support women transitioning from secure inpatient care to a community residential setting.
• Assist in needs assessment, personalised support planning, and promoting independence in daily living activities.
• Contribute to medication self-management and community engagement under supervision.
