Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the CMHPT team in Bracknell. This full-time, one-year fixed-term post involves trauma-informed care for adults with complex mental health needs, with on-site work at least 50% and some home working where service needs allow.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver evidence-based therapies, supervise juniors, and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
• Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Experience of and interest in working with adults with significant mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist psychological assessments and formulate service user presentations.
• Develop personalised treatment plans in collaboration with service users.
• Deliver evidence-based psychological therapies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior clinicians and trainees.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
