Job summary

The Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join Harrow Adult Mental Health within the CMHH at Bentley House. You will deliver highly specialist psychological assessment, formulate care plans, and provide evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary team in a Trauma-Informed Approach.

You will lead and supervise colleagues, contribute to service development, and support learning and research to advance

Qualifications

• specialist psychology service including assessment, formulation and intervention
• clinical supervision and consultation
• service evaluation, audit and research
• adherence to HCPC and Trust policies

Responsibilities

• provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for clients under the Bentley House CMHH
• provide culturally appropriate psychological interventions
• assess and monitor risk and draw up risk management plans
• act as named worker and coordinate multi-professional meetings
• contribute to service development and participate in relevant projects
• supervise assistant psychologists when required
• provide occasional training in psychological approaches to care
• ensure accurate recording of information per Trust procedures
• undertake regular complex service evaluation, audits or research
• receive regular clinical supervision per HCPC and Trust guidelines
• maintain Continuing Professional Development in line with HCPC/Trust requirements
