Job summary

Barnardos in Warwick is seeking a practitioner to deliver best practice in child exploitation care, providing direct support to children and young people affected by exploitation.

You will work with parents and professionals, apply Barnardo's 4 A's model and trauma-informed responses, and collaborate with local authorities and police on safeguarding.

This role involves case review within 12 weeks, supervision, and contributing to service evaluation to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering best practice in CSE/CCE.
• Working knowledge of trauma-informed responses to abuse.
• Ability to provide advocacy and support to children and families.
• Collaborate with professionals across statutory partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or group work support to children and young people affected by exploitation.
• Guide professionals to help families navigate social care and criminal justice systems.
• Work with local authorities and police in multi-agency settings.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and ensure 12-week case reviews.
• Participate in clinical supervision and contribute to service evaluation.
