East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trauma Co-ordinator to lead the orthopaedic emergency pathway. The role requires inspirational leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care and teaching.
You will work across professional groups to streamline scheduling and resource use. The post involves direct patient interaction, MDT attendance, and driving service improvements to reduce length of stay and improve outcomes.
We need a unique person to provide inspirational leadership to co-ordinate activity within the trust liaising with other health care professionals to ensure patients are managed effectively and efficiently through the orthopaedic emergency pathway
You should be caring, compassionate, forward thinking, well-organised and have a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
You will need to be self-motivated and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing a quality service and a supportive teaching environment is also essential.
All candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to the Trust’s ‘every patient, every day’ programme.
Fixed term role until 30th May 2027.
