Job Description:

Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals, JOB SUMMARY: Airbus is looking for a Transportation Manager to join our Transport organization based in Belfast. You will be part of a team managing worldwide transport of general cargo activities from suppliers to Airbus or Airbus to Airbus. As a key actor in the transport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring performance and reliability, aiming at delivering parts on time, on cost, and on quality.

How You Will Contribute to the Team

1. Interface / network between business entities
2. Implement and adapt Airbus Transport processes
3. Supervise transport providers' operations and support daily operations between service providers and internal customers
4. Monitor suppliers' performance (Performance management, SQCDP)
5. Manage contracts (incoterm changes, scope changes, requirements)
6. Create and implement SLAs
7. Financial accountability within your scope (PO placement, goods receipt, invoice audits)
8. Support new transport solutions and re-engineering to improve network efficiency and generate synergies

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing complex transport operations
• Familiarity with supplier monitoring activities
• Autonomous and curious mindset
• Sound knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Fluent English is mandatory
